Mr. FAUN

Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 21, 2026

Mr. FAUN operates this website and the related AI-assisted garden and labyrinth design service (the “Services”). We rely on third-party service providers — including our payment processor and AI infrastructure providers — to deliver the Services to you. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase using the Services. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.

By using and accessing the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described below.

Personal Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with the Services and where you live, we may collect or process the following categories of personal information:

  • Contact details — your name, email address, and billing address provided during checkout or account creation.
  • Account information — your username, password (stored hashed), and account preferences.
  • Project content — design briefs, plot dimensions, uploaded photos of your site, planting preferences and any other inputs you submit to generate a maze concept.
  • Generated deliverables — AI-generated concepts, planting lists, PDF deliverables and 3D walk-throughs produced from your inputs.
  • Transaction information — which tier you purchased (Professional, Premium, Deluxe), order timestamps and order status. Card details are never seen or stored by Mr. FAUN — they are handled directly by Paddle (see below).
  • Communications with us — emails you send to our support address.
  • Device & usage information — your device type, browser, IP address, and how you interact with the Services, collected via cookies and similar technologies.

How We Collect Your Information

  • Directly from you when you create an account, fill in a project brief, contact us, or place an order.
  • Automatically from your device when you use the Services, including via cookies and similar technologies.
  • From our service providers — primarily our Merchant of Record Paddle (which handles checkout, billing and tax) and our hosting / database / AI infrastructure providers, when they process information on our behalf.

How We Use Your Personal Information

  • Provide and improve the Services. We use your project inputs (plot data, photos, preferences) to generate maze concepts, planting lists, and PDF deliverables; to maintain your account; to deliver downloads; and to improve the quality of our AI-assisted outputs.
  • Process payments. Your payment is processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record. We receive a confirmation event and the tier purchased — never your card data.
  • Communicate with you. We send transactional emails (order confirmation, deliverables ready, password reset). We do not send marketing emails without your consent.
  • Security and fraud prevention. We authenticate your account and protect the Services against abuse, fraud and unauthorized access.
  • Legal compliance. We process information as required to comply with applicable law, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We share personal information only with service providers acting on our behalf, including:

  • Paddle.com Market Limited — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, card processing, billing, invoicing, sales tax and VAT remittance globally. See Paddle’s privacy policy at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
  • Hosting & database providers for application hosting, authentication and storage of your account and projects.
  • AI inference providers (such as Google Gemini and OpenAI) used to generate maze concepts and planting plans from your inputs. Project inputs (including uploaded photos) may be transmitted to these providers for the duration of inference.
  • Email delivery provider used to send transactional emails.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising purposes. We may disclose information in connection with a business transaction (merger, acquisition, bankruptcy) or to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and basic site functionality, and a minimal set of analytics cookies to understand how the Services are used. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Children’s Data

The Services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the details below and we will delete it.

Security and Retention

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain your account, projects and order records for as long as your account is active and as required to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (including tax and accounting), resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated projects at any time using the contact details below.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information. These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions:

  • Access / Know — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data.
  • Portability — request a copy of your projects and deliverables in a machine-readable format.
  • Objection / Restriction (UK / EEA) — object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

International Transfers

We and our service providers may process your information outside your country of residence, including in jurisdictions whose data protection laws differ from your own. Where we transfer personal information out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The revised policy will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
